It’s a great tool, sleek and compact. Took a little bit to figure out mechanics of set up + break down because I was afraid to use too much force or push something in the wrong direction and break it. I wish the overhead light had more positioning options so I could use it more directly over the hinging phone stand. The phone holder on the hinging stand arm does rotate which is great, but I wish the stand itself could rotate around the base too.

As someone who works on the internet, I have a ton of selfie and camera equipment. But I always find, the simpler and quicker the better, so I am always upgrading or tossing out stuff, I just end up not using. I was super curious when I saw this though. It has all these functions in a small carry around case that are not only professional quality, they are easy to use and setup. The lighting is adjustable and a perfect amount of brightness. The phone can be at both angles, depending on which arm you choose to hook up and the height is adjustable as well as it can bend completely over for an overhand view filming experience. Super solid too, this is the so amazing, I may be ditching everything else I have.

This has definitely help me with shooting my jewelery and craft videos. It's super portable so easy to take with you anywhere which is super convenient. The battery lasts longer than I expected and it comes with a decent long USB cable. There are a few minor tweaks I would recommend for the 3.0 version. Ability to rotate the light and phone stand so it can do a 360 degree swivel. This would be super helpful as the light block base below limits the camera angles. I'm going to be uploading my unboxing video on Tiktok and Instagram where you will also be able to see this lighting kit in full action. Overall, this accomplishes what I was looking for, which is having a tripod/light combination and a way to hold a phone parallel or perpendicular to the ground. There is a slight learning curve for some things, such as how to open it up, how to set the phone mounts onto the telescopic arms, and how to adjust the tilting angle of the arm. Once you get the hang of it and get a feel for the amount of force required to extend the arms, it’s easy to use. I do wish the front arm’s tilt held in place at more angles, but it’s great for either vertical, slight downward angles, or horizontal facing the ground.
