Purchased one for myself and one for my daughter. We both have our own businesses and need to record and take photos. This helps us do both, we were using a ring light but that wasn’t always so practical especially when you needed to do something at a certain angle. I only wish they held a charge a little longer, besides that very happy with my purchases. Definitely recommend.

At first, I had some difficulty extending the kit to its full height, but the customer service via Instagram and email was a great help! I was advised that the tube was tight (being new), so more force was needed to pull.

Unboxing this item is somewhat difficult as the directions are written in gray ink, miniscule text font on white. Come on, you guys can do better than that! I had to find an unboxing video on You Tube to set it up. I also had difficulty finding the place on the telescoping pole that bends over. Maybe emphasize that place with a colored line? Hence, the reasons for my 4 stars. Otherwise, works beautifully.

Aside from recording, origami videos, I also use this lamp to record time lapses of my critters. It’s non-invasive, the lighting isn’t super harsh, and I like the options available to me when I do use this light. It’s easy to pack up and travels well, and I enjoy taking it out to see what other options I have to the shot.

Received my order for the Uniqu Light kit in a very timely manner. It took me a minute to figure out how to expose the 90 degree angle joint but once I did that it worked a charm!
I love the fact that the base of this is heavily weighted, which means I don't need to worry about it becoming top heavy.
When I've had a moment to try making a vid, I'll update my review, but for now it's an A+

Je trouve juste que le pied télescopique bouge un peu trop et plie un peu sous le poids du téléphone.
C'est dommage qu'on ne puisse pas tourné la lampe à 360°. En effet, si le pied télescopique est trop monté, on voit le pied de la lampe dans le cadre de la photo ou vidéo de téléphone.
Cependant, c'est un produit très compact et plutôt facile à transporter comparer à un dispositif professionnel.
Bon rapport qualité prix selon moi.

Pros:
* Price point, especially with the discount code that was available when I purchased
* Compact, with clever folding design
* Easy to set up
* Multiple light settings that reduce eye strain while I draw
* Secure clip to hold my phone during video recording sessions
Cons:
* The light panel is not directly *under* the phone clip. It's off to the side of the phone clip. So if I'm recording myself drawing or taking a still photo and trying to use the light, the area to the *side* of my artwork is lit up, and my actual art is dimmer. This reduces the effectiveness of the light. I don't know why it would be designed this way.
* Because I only need a 90º downward-facing camera to record drawing sessions and finished artwork, I don't really need the high heights and variety of positions. I simply need to take photos of a flat surface so my square art tiles are not skewed. But the folding arm is a few degrees off of 90º, so I have to either edit the image on my phone afterwards or push down on the arm until it's closer to 90º. I'm not a big content creator so it's not a huge deal, but it is annoying.
On balance, except for those two gripes, it's a solid entry-level lighting and recording kit.

Plus: It works exactly as I wanted it to when making a video of my work. Setup, extension and ability to place the subject in frame is fine. Drawback: Trying to insert the iPhone I use into the spring clamp is really awkward! The clamp pressure is good for holding the iPhone, but getting both sides to open at the same time while trying to insert the phone is a bit tricky and can be a very fumbling experience when setting up. I definitely give the unit a thumbs up, just be ready for the very firm spring clamp.

It works great so far! I’ve used it to record my cookie decorating videos and it’s super easy to use. Can hold my heavy iPhone and folds up nicely into a super compact item I can store just about anywhere.

It doesn't come with an instruction manual but it's pretty easy to comprehend how this item works. It does give me the instruction to open, I was confused at first and saw a video on how to open it, lol I was opening it wrong, but then understood how it opens. Its great especially for someone with shaky hands such as myself. SO, it takes perfect pictures, no blurs, perfect lightening and I just love how adjustable the item is. A great product!!

I was the invited speaker for a glass group. The meeting was broadcast via ZOOM. I used my UNIQU lighting stand and my phone to give an overhead view of the action. In my opinion, the stand was just a bit floppy when holding my phone at extension. Like any vibration was amplified at the camera end. Otherwise, it worked well. The lights were barely noticeable in my brightly lit studio, but I think the lights would be very helpful in a darker situation.
I hope to film videos I can share on my social media sites and I think the UNIQU lighting stand will help me in that endeavor.

This product is a game changes for being able to create content! The only thing I haven’t figured out is how to have the Arial flat view not show the base when you raise the arm up higher on a table. Wish it could have more pivot points. Still worth the $$ and use has been much better than ring light AND it’s compact and portable which is huge.
