This is a step up from my first edition light stand and it works beautifully. Better balance, wider image range, and easier to collapse & store. It is the perfect piece of equipment for my art demonstrations both in the classroom or outdoors at the Environmental Education Center where I teach. This item is extremely useful for creating videos, since it can hold the phone in any position needed, while I can have my hands free for holding and using the products. The light is bright and adjustable as needed, increasing the quality of the video. Both the light and the remote are rechargeable with the same USB cable. The stand is stable on the desk. I highly recommend this phone stand!
I mainly got this for video calls . I take music lessons online and I would usually prop boxes and cloth to get right height to record . Now I can place the stand, clip the phone and adjust phone placement vertically by just extending the rods . You need this if you’re the cameraman and the subject .
This thing is so handy! I’ve been looking for a new tripod to be able to use when making content and this is perfect!! When recording overhead it doesn’t show the base. When you’re not using it, it can fold down perfectly to store. I deff recommend it!
UNIQU made a very high quality phone stand. It’s got a bit of weight to it which comes in handy when you are trying to make videos or take photos hands free. It’s very easy to setup and you only need to pair the remote with your phone via Bluetooth.It’s the perfect size to fit in your backpack or purse as well.
Wouldn’t recommend. I haven’t even had it for a full year and it broke when I went to extend it. Tried contacting uniqu 3 times and no response. Terrible service and waste of money
I liked the tripod, it's compact, convenient for traveling, looks stylish, but I thought it would be tall, but it's short and only suitable for tabletop shooting, I also really didn't like that it's impossible to tilt the tripod at an angle, because it only tilts to one side and then falls right away, it doesn't hold the phone at an angle
I liked the style and compact design however I wanted the phone to look over my work space at at 45 degree angle but it kept dropping to the flat angle 90° even if I tightened with the tool provided it wasn't strong enough so I could only have it straight or up or bent flat .
I've sent w emails to get a refund or exchange for another model . But still no reply , don't know what to do now
Item came very well packaged and quickly. It’s definitely sturdier than the previous model I own, however, the telescopic arm doesn’t go as high. I have to prop it up on some books to achieve the height I need. This then makes it more unstable so I still have to add a counter weight. It is better in that the arm is straighter and doesn’t droop and the base is no longer an issue being in the picture. 90% there to a good design. Can’t comment on the light or remote as I don’t use them.
Good sturdy unit, however the allen key is a bit annoying as I have lost it already and I need to find another one that fits it. All in all a solid unit that its great for content creation.
It’s a good product! Although for me, it seems like the light dies a lot faster, and fully charging it takes a few hours on my end. Overall the product it good!
This product is soooo convenient! So far I have used it to read a book, but I plan on using this to build my social media page with better quality videos. It's so easy to manage and is great to travel with! I highly recommend this to anyone who needs something convenient and high quality to travel with to film better video/picture content.
